Objectives & Investment Policy
Long term capital growth by investing in global Equity Markets with a focus on companies with an engagement in the area of water resource management in accordance with E/S characteristics.
Sub-fund assets are invested in accordance with E/S characteristics. Min. 70% of Fund assets are invested in companies with a focus on companies with an engagement in the area of water resource management Companies which engage in the area of water resource management are companies which offer products and/or servcies that create positive environmental and social outcomes along water scarcity and quality issues and helps to improve the sustainability of global water resources.
Max. 30% of Fund assets may be invested in Equities othan than described in the investment objective in accordance with E/S characteristics. Assets mant be - even fully - invested in Emerging Markets.
Max. 25% of Fund assets may be invested in Money Market Instruments and/or (up to 10% of assets) in money market funds and/or held in time deposits and/or (up to 20% of assets) in deposits at sight for liquidity management.
Max. 10% of assets may be invested in UCITS and/or UCI.
Max. 10% of Fund assets may be invested in convertible bonds, thereof max/ 10% of assets may be invested in contingenet convertible bonds.
Max. 10% of assets may be invested into China A-Shares market. All Bonds and money market instruments must have at the time of acquisition a rating of at least B- or a comparable rating from a recognised rating agency. Fund classifies as “equity-fund” according to German Investment Tax Act (GITA).
The fund promotes environmental and social characteristics (E/S characteristics) with simultaneous application of certain minimum exclusion criteria for direct investments and targets a specific minimum allocation into sustainable investments. Fund's pre-comtractual template describes all relevant information about the E/S characterisics' scope, details and requirements and appliced exclusion criteria.
Min 80% of fund portfolio is invested in issuers which pursue business activities that contribute with a minimum of 20% to one or more SDGs and/or Taxonomy Objetives. The basis for the calulation of the 80% threshold is the net asset value except instruments for which no sustainable investment share can reasonably be calculated.
Min 50% of assets will be invested in Sustainable Investments.
