Fund Objective

The Fund aims to generate capital growth by investing passively in emerging market equities by tracking the performance of the Robeco Scottish Widows Emerging Markets Equity Sustainability Tilted Index. The Index invests primarily in companies which have positive environmental or society contributions and aim for improvements in environmental metrics, such as the reduction of carbon intensity compared to broad emerging market equity market indices (such as the MSCI Emerging Market Index). The Fund will invest in one or more underlying funds.

Scottish Widows will review the marketplace of emerging market equity Ethical, Social and Governance (ESG) funds, considering each fund’s performance, risk objectives and ESG objectives, to select what we believe is an appropriate strategy for the Fund. The Fund currently invests in the State Street AUT Emerging Market Tilted Index Equity Fund.
