A major new report (the Corley Review) has been published considering how the UK can increase investment in ways that have positive social impacts.
This welcome report includes 53 recommendations – calls to action for government and the investment community.
The report was prepared by an independent advisory group chaired by Elizabeth Corley, Vice Chair Allianz Global Investors and published by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
The report and supporting documents can be downloaded here.
The review was established by the government in 2016 to answer the question:
“How can the providers of savings, pensions and investments engage with individuals to enable them to support more easily the things they care about through their savings and investment choices?”
I am delighted to report that Fund EcoMarket is mentioned in the documents that accompany the report.
