PolicyThe Company is a closed-ended investment company whose shares are listed on the premium segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and traded on the main market of London Stock Exchange. The Company's ordinary shares are therefore available to the general public. Shares of the Company are bought and sold via markets. Typically at any given time on any given day, the price you pay for a sharewill be higher than the price at which you could sell it.
To grow money invested in the company over the long-term through a diverse portfolio of companies providing environmental solutions. The Company invests globally in companies which have a significant focus on environmental solutions. Specifically, the Company looks to invest across six environmental themes: clean energy, green buildings & industry, sustainable agriculture & land ecosystems, circular economy, sustainable oceans & freshwater systems and green mobility. The Company invests primarily in shares of companies which are quoted, listed or traded on a recognised exchange. No more than 5% of the Company's total assets may be invested in shares which are not listed on a stock exchange at the time of investment. The Company has a flexible loan facility it can use for investment purposes (known as gearing) with a view to enhancing returns. The maximum level of gearing will be 25% of the Company's total assets at the time of initiating the loan. The Company is not restricted to investing in constituent companies of the Benchmark (MSCI World Small Cap Net Total Return Index) (Source: KIID, as at January 2024)
