Sustainable, Responsible &/or ESG Policy:

Objectives and investment policy

The investment objective of the fund is to achieve capital growth over a term of 5 years or more by investing in companies which the investment adviser deems to be sustainable. These are companies that, through the way they are managed and/or the goods and services that they sell, make a positive contribution to the planet and/or people.

The fund selects investments in alignment with the requirements of the UK Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) Sustainability Focus label. At least 70% of the gross value of the fund's assets will be invested in equities categorised as environmentally or socially sustainable investments.

By selecting assets that meet the investment adviser’s sustainability criteria, the fund aims to direct the flow of capital to companies that, through the way they are managed and/or the goods and services that they sell, make a positive contribution to: Planet (the environment); and/or People (society).

The investment adviser will review sustainability according to certain criteria (detailed in the ‘Sustainability Criteria’ section of the Prospectus).

The fund will invest, at the investment adviser’s discretion, in global equities, global fixed interest and index linked securities. The fund is also permitted to invest in other types of transferable securities, units and/or shares in other collective investment schemes, money market instruments, deposits, cash and near cash. The fund is permitted to make limited use of derivatives and forward transactions for the purposes of efficient portfolio management (including hedging).

The fund is actively managed without reference to a benchmark. The strategy combines fundamental and ESG analysis to identify value & growth opportunities in companies that demonstrate strong sustainability characteristics.
