SRI Services has been involved in Reset Connect events in London since their inception and are delighted to also be involved in their first ‘northern’ event also.

You can find out about the event here.

(Please contact the Reset Connect North team directly if you are interested in sponsorship opportunities.)

What will we be doing at Reset Connect North?

We will be running two ‘hub’ sessions, that are open to everyone (on the main floor), and two ’round table’ sessions that are for financial services professionals only.

If you are a financial adviser, wealth manager, asset or portfolio manager and would like to join one of our closed door round-table sessions we have a small number of VIP delegate packages that we can share.

Please use our code SPJUD100 and register for a VIP delegate pass at https://www.reset-connect.com/northvip

The sessions will be:

Tuesday 3rd March

11:00 – 12:00  – Finance & Investment Hub – ‘A beginners guide to sustainable, responsible and ethical investment: principles and practice’ & Q&A

  • This will be an ‘open to all’ session on the main floor.   We will be aiming to give newcomers to the area a basic introduction – with plenty of time to ask questions.
  • This session will be in two parts – we will start by introducing the basics, such as purpose, aims, who and what this area is for, and move on to discussing how these investments work in practice, relevant rules and what to expect.
  • There may be financial advisers on the panel however attendees should not interpret what is said as ‘financial advice’, as the speakers will not be aware of your personal situation.

16:00 – 17:00 Roundtable – Vera Suite –‘Exploring the new ‘Adviser Sustainability Group’ report’

  • This is a small, informal closed-door session for people who work in financial services and investment.
  • Please sign up in advance if possible. Attendances will need to be approved by SRI Services and the Reset team. (Sign up link to follow).

The Adviser Sustainability Group was tasked by the FCA with creating a framework for financial advice and those training advisers on sustainable investment.

We are hoping the Adviser Sustainability Group report will be published before this event, but even if it is not we will hold an open discussion about its purpose, structure and intended impact. Julia Dreblow is vice chair of the ASG.

Wednesday 4th March

11:15 – 12:30 Roundtable – Hotot Suite – ‘How can the retail investment community make money and do good?  What might being a ‘Dialshifter’ look like?’

  •  This is a small, informal closed-door session for people who work in retail financial services and investment.
  • Please sign up in advance if possible. Attendances will need to be approved by SRI Services and the Reset team.

The premise of this session is that whilst investors cannot be held responsible for everything that happens in the world, they are none the less important – and the retail investment and advisory communities are part of this.

Building on the work of the Adviser Sustainability Group – and their report – we will be having an open discussion about the compatibility of ‘making money and doing good’ and how we can work together to meet clients’ individual needs better, whilst contributing to a brighter future.

14:30 – 15:30  Finance & Investment Hub –  ‘Sustainable investment in 2026: what is it, how does it work and why does it matter?’ & Q&A

  • This will be an ‘open to all’ session on the main floor of the event. Content will be designed to help those new to this area to gain a basic understanding of sustainable investing – with the opportunity to ask questions.
  • This session will explore the retail sustainable, responsible and ethical investment landscape in 2026.  We will be discussing the different options that are available to clients, who they are designed for,  how they work and why this area matters.
  • There may be financial advisers on the panel – however attendees should not interpret what is said as ‘financial advice’, as the speakers will not be aware of your personal situation.

If you would like to join us as a speaker or as a delegate please contact us here.
