Objectives and Investment Policy

The Fund is a passively managed index-tracking UCITS.

The Fund's management objective is to replicate, both upwards and downwards, the change in the USD-denominated MSCI ACWI IMI New Energy ESG Filtered Net Total Return Index (net dividends reinvested) (the "Benchmark Index"), while minimising the tracking error between the Fund's performance and that of its Benchmark Index.

The tracking error anticipated under normal market conditions is indicated in the Fund's prospectus.

The Benchmark Index aims to represent the performance of securities whose activities are linked to the development of new products and services in the sectors of alternative energy sources, energy efficiency, batteries and intelligent network technologies.

It excludes companies falling behind on an environmental, social and governance (ESG) level, particularly on the basis of ESG ratings.

The ESG rating methodology is based on key ESG issues including, but not limited to, water stress, carbon emissions, personnel management and business ethics.

The benchmark index uses a best-in-class approach, meaning that companies with an industry-adjusted ESG rating in the lower quartile are excluded from the investment universe.

For more information on the general and specific environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives of the Sub-fund, please consult the Sub-fund's Transparency Code at https://amundietf.com/.

The limits of the benchmark index methodology are described in the Fund's prospectus through risk factors such as the market risk linked to controversy and risks related to ESG methodologies and calculation of ESG scores.
