FCA publishes ESG Ratings final regime

The FCA has published the final text of the new regulatory regime for providers of ESG ratings – PS 26/22.

The new regimes brings ESG ratings provider into the regulatory perimiter for the first time, and is a sign of their significance.

From 29 June 2028 relevant firms will either need to be approved or fall within the regulator’s exemptions.
